Collection by another person:

If someone else is picking up your order, they will need to present the order number as proof of purchase before collection.

Third-party Collection:

You may arrange for an Uber driver to collect your order on your behalf. The driver must provide the order number upon arrival and check the order inside the Sakurado branch before signing off on its condition.

Order Notice Periods:

• Shortcakes: must be ordered at least 48 hours in advance to ensure sufficient preparation time.
• Decoration Add-ons: orders with decorations must also be placed 48 hours in advance. This ensures our team has enough time to prepare and personalise your cake.
• If you would like your cake sooner, please call 020 7589 2260, and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

• Delivery/collection rules for these will be agreed case by case.

Local vs Nationwide Definition:

To check whether your address qualifies for London or Nationwide delivery, please use our Delivery Area Checker.

London Delivery:

• Same-day delivery: available through UberEats, Deliveroo, or HungryPanda.
• Next-day delivery: available between 8 am and 5 pm in hourly slots. Orders can be placed any time up until midnight the night before.

Nationwide Delivery:

• Orders must be placed at least 48 hours in advance.
• Nationwide orders are delivered via DPD courier.
• Nationwide delivery is available from Tuesday to Friday. Please note that we do not deliver on certain bank holidays.
• Please note: decorations and delicate toppings are not available for nationwide delivery to prevent movement or breakage in transit.
• We are not responsible for minor damage that may occur during courier delivery.

Eligibility Rules (for Nationwide Delivery):

Not Eligible for Nationwide Delivery:
The following products are excluded from nationwide delivery due to their fresh fruit content and/ or delicate nature. These items are available for London delivery or in-store collection only:

• Fresh Mochi with fruit (Strawberry, Peach, Mango, Matcha Strawberry)
• All Mille Crepes
• All Shortcakes
• Hokkaido Snow Cakes
• Choux Pastries

Please note:
For nationwide delivery, decorations are not available to avoid movement or breakage in transit. However, personalised messages can still be added to your cake.

Delivery Fees:

Delivery fees are calculated automatically at checkout based on your delivery location. There is no minimum order requirement.

Next-day Collection:

• Orders can be placed any time up until midnight the day before for next-day collection.
• Available from any Sakurado branch between 1 pm–10 pm.
• Customers can choose from half-hour slots (e.g. 1:00–1:30, 1:30–2:00, etc.).

 After Next-day Collection:

• For collection dates beyond the next day, customers can select any half-hour slot between 8 am–10 pm on their chosen day.

-INGREDIENTS & ALLERGENS-

Animal Products and Alcohol:

Our desserts are made without alcohol and use halal-certified gelatine, ensuring they cater to a wide range of dietary preferences.

Allergen Information:

Please note that all Sakurado products are freshly baked in kitchens where a variety of ingredients are handled. While we have strict processes in place to minimise the risk of cross-contamination, our kitchens are small and do not have segregated production lines, so cross-contact between ingredients is possible.

All of our kitchens handle the following major allergens: dairy, eggs, gluten (wheat), tree nuts, peanuts, sesame, soya, and sulphites.

If you have a severe allergy or one that could cause a major reaction, we regret that the only way to be completely safe is not to consume our products.

For detailed allergen information, please refer to the allergen table at the bottom of each product page on our website. Each product lists its specific allergen content so you can make an informed choice before placing an order.

Seasonal Decorations:

Please note that cake decorations, especially those featuring fruits, may vary according to seasonal availability. If you have specific preferences or questions regarding decorations, feel free to contact us directly at orders@sakurado.co.uk.

-CARE & STORAGE –

Storage Instructions:

To maintain optimal freshness, store our products in the refrigerator at temperatures between 2°C and 8°C. We recommend keeping products outside the fridge for no longer than 30 minutes.

Serving Recommendations:

For items containing fresh cream, we recommend a 20-minute period at room temperature prior to consumption.

Order Cancellation:

Orders can be cancelled up to 72 hours in advance. We do not issue refunds, and instead store credit will be issued for the cancelled amount. To request a cancellation, please email orders@sakurado.co.uk.

Changing order type:

If you wish to switch your order from collection to delivery, this can be arranged up to 48 hours before your scheduled date. Please get in contact with delivery@sakurado.co.uk to make the change.

Other Amendments:

For any other adjustments to your order, please reach out at least 72 hours in advance at orders@sakurado.co.uk

Refund Policy:

Due to the nature of our products, we do not accept refunds either in-store or online.

Usage:

Vouchers can be used for both online orders and in-store purchases, offering flexibility for your next treat.

In-store Redemption:

Simply present your voucher barcode at checkout to redeem your e-gift voucher in any Sakurado branch.

Extension:

E-gift vouchers cannot be extended so please be sure to treat yourself to a Japanese dessert before your voucher expires!
