We’re delighted to be included in British Vogue’s June 2026 Flavours in Focus feature, celebrating standout food and drink brands.
This June, SAKURA-DO is featured in British Vogue’s Flavours in Focus, the first of three monthly placements across the June, July and August 2026 issues, in print and digital. The June feature puts our handcrafted mille crepe cakes in focus.
“A luxury family-owned Japanese patisserie in London, celebrated for handcrafted mille crepe cakes and freshly made mochi, with its signature matcha mille crepe as a highlight.”
– As featured in British Vogue, June 2026
Our mille crepe cakes are made by hand, with thin layers of crepe folded between fresh cream to create the feathered cross-section that defines the style. Originally a French technique refined by Japanese patisserie, the mille crepe is a quietly elegant example of cross-cultural craft. Our signature matcha mille crepe, made with ceremonial-grade matcha, has become one of our most loved creations.

Since opening in London, our focus has been on bringing the precision and restraint of Japanese patisserie to a British audience, with seasonal collections rooted in Japanese ingredients and bespoke celebration cakes designed for moments that matter. Being included in British Vogue this summer is a real milestone for us.
You can view the full feature on Vogue’s website.
Look out for our July and August features, each spotlighting a different signature creation.
